These 35mm black-and-white film scans show the many culverts that route water into Lake Superior. I've always found these structures intriguing. They range in size, style, and era while sharing the same key purpose. In Vessel, I returned to the tunnels I had explored as a child to show an overlooked yet important piece of Duluth's engineering.
